As far as I am aware the Mac Pro 2010 model does not have an ATA interface at all, both the standard hard drive bays and the optical bays are SATA interfaces. With regards to 'Marvell' this is a commonly used chipset for SATA cards and I have needed to install a driver for a PCI SATA card to let Windows in Boot Camp correctly see and use it.
