But upon returning home, we discovered that only the original Mac user can access the downloaded lessons. We want to have our daughter in her own protected Mac account. Alas, all other Mac users (as opposed to inside-the-app profiles) require redownloading hundreds of megabytes of lesson files. Also, despite purchasing the whole US lesson kit, there is no way to download all the lessons at once. You have to navigate to each of the fifteen lessons and download them, which takes about ten minutes each on a fast Internet connection, and has to be baby-sat during the process. In this case my kids learnt french and they had a blast leaning every night before going to bed the would get the computer out and practice and they would be on it for about an hour before going to sleep, they absoulutely adore it and now they can even speak it and well i’m jealous since i am having a bit of a hard time understanding them.I guuess it’s my turn to learn a different language too:).
